Our Policies

Online Self-Serve Booking System:
Our booking system is the first of its kind in children’s entertainment. While other companies require that you email or call and go through a lengthy booking process, we understand that busy parents with small children are not always available during office hours. That’s why we have created a simple way for grown-ups to book and confirm their party, 24 hours a day! If you have a specific request or don’t see what you are looking for, you can always reach out to us by email info@bibbitybobbityprincessparties.com or by using the live chat feature on our website (Mon-Fri, 11am-7pm).
Once you’ve booked, if for any reason there is an issue with your booking, we will reach out within 1 business day. (This almost NEVER happens unless there is a typo in the phone number or address or if you’ve selected the wrong region/location at the time of booking). If you’ve booked with us online and are feeling unsure, you can always reach out to us by replying to your confirmation email or by using the live chat feature and we will re-confirm with you that your booking is good to go!

Deposits/Cancellation/Rescheduling:

We collect a minimum 50% deposit in order to confirm all bookings. All deposits and payments paid toward all of our packages, performances and appearances are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or reschedule and you provide at least 30 days notice to us, by email to bookings@bibbitybobbityprincessparties.com, we will offer a one-time rescheduling of your booking and apply any deposits and fees paid toward your booking to a future date and time (subject to availability). If rescheduling or cancellation is made less than 30 days in advance of your party date, any and all deposits paid will be forfeit.

Payment:
All payments must be made online, by credit card. We accept all major credit cards as payment through our secure 3rd party payment processor. While you are welcome to tip your performer, in cash, our performers are not able to accept cash or cheque as payment toward your remaining balance, under any circumstances. Any cash given to the performer will always be considered a tip.
If payment of the remaining balance has not been made within 48 hours of the end of your event, we reserve the right to charge the original credit card used as payment for any remaining balance.

Special Requests:
If you’d like to request that your chosen character wear a specific dress or costume or that a specific one of our cast members attend as your chosen character, please do not hesitate to include this information in your booking form and we will do our best to fulfil your request. Please note: while we always do our best to fulfil special requests, we can never 100% guarantee a specific dress, costume or performer. Refunds will not be provided if the requested dress, costume or performer is not available or a last minute change in dress, costume or performer must be made due to illness or performer emergency.

Outdoor Parties:

If your party is planned for outdoors, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a backup location, in case of rain or extreme heat or cold. Our performers require a dry, non-muddy, shaded area for outdoor parties and, for health and safety reasons, cannot perform outdoors if the temperature is below 10 or above 30 degrees celsius. Our mascot characters (ie: Olaf) are not available for outdoor events and require an air conditioned, indoor location.

Cancellation for In-Person Parties:
If cancellation or rescheduling is required less than 30 days in advance or an in-person party cannot go forward for any reason, you will have the option to apply the deposit toward a virtual option, at the same originally scheduled date and time.

Health Policies:
Our motto at Bibbity Bobbity Princess Parties has always been to uphold the values that princesses embody; most notably, accountability and integrity. It is for this reason that we pledge to do everything we can to make sure we don’t contract or spread any illness so that we never have to cancel a party.

If our performers find themselves in a position where guests at a party are visibly sick and/or showing symptoms of illness, they may, at their sole discretion, decide to put on a mask. While we don’t require you or your guests to take any additional steps, we appreciate your cooperation in insuring that only guests in good health attend your event. Thank you for helping us guarantee the magic for all!

If the performer scheduled for your party experiences an emergency or is sick:
Because of our commitment to never cancelling a party, we always aim to have at least 1 backup performer available for all parties. In the very unlikely event that both your scheduled performer and our backup performer are prevented from attending your event and we do not have another performer available, we will inform you immediately and either attempt to adjust the schedule so we can have a different performer attend your party at an earlier or later time on the same day, reschedule for a different date and time or switch to a virtual option. Your patience, cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated if we need to deal with circumstances beyond anyone’s control.

Travel, Traffic, Weather and Acts of God:
As traffic in the GTA and surrounding areas can be unpredictable and your performer may be travelling long distances from another party or event, we will always schedule lots of extra time between our parties.
Of course, despite our best efforts, there can occasionally be an accident, highway shut down, dangerous road conditions or other extreme unexpected traffic issue or weather that no-one could have predicted and that may prevent your performer from arriving at your scheduled time.
We recommend having lots of wiggle room in your party’s scheduling, just in case, as we cannot be held responsible for any delays due to extreme traffic issues or weather. If the performer will be late, they will inform you immediately and update you as needed.

If a performer cannot make it to your party due to extreme weather causing dangerous or impossible driving condition or because of any act of God, the deposit will not be refundable but we will do our best to work with you to delay or postpone your princess’s appearance or switch to a virtual option.

Parking and other fees:
Any and all parking fees incurred by our performers (ie: Charges to park on the street or in the garage when free parking is not available) must be reimbursed by the client, in cash. Our performers will provide you with a receipt.

Types of Entertainment:

  • Interactive Entertainment

    • Our princesses are all experienced, talented and professionally trained performers, skilled at making sure your celebrations are extra special with singing, dancing, storytelling, games, magic and more! If you select an “Performance and Interactive Entertainment” at the time of booking, we recommend that our performer be the only activity happening during the time they are attending your party or event. While we always do our best to continue with our planned activities, if your party is taking place in a very loud place or if there are other activities happening simultaneously, (For example; A bouncy castle or jungle gym, lots of adults talking loudly, a DJ, face-painter etc) our performer may need to modify their interactive performance or switch to a mix and mingle style.

  • Mix and Mingle and Some Interactive Performance

    • If you know in advance that you will have lots of activities planned or if your party is taking place at a play-place or other activity centre, this is no problem! At the time of booking, we recommend that you select “Mix and Mingle plus Some Interactive Performance” as your preferred style of activities. The performer will do as many activities with the kids as she can and then visit with individual groups, pose for photos, sign autographs. They will be available toward the end of their time with you to cut the cake and sing happy birthday (if requested).

  • Mix and Mingle

    • This option is great if you are hosting a corporate event or vendor market or if many people will be passing through. The performer will pose for photos with guests, interact with kids and adults, and can hand out colouring sheets that they can autograph for the kids.

We reserve the right to adjust our policies toward in-person parties, at any time and without notice.
